Plan the two appointments →Confirm the body region, left or right side, requested protocol and any contrast requirement with the hospital. A single-region quote is not whole-body or automatically bilateral imaging. Keep an included MRI separate from a proposed addition.
Use the MRI scope checklist →Separate time at the hospital from report release, English translation and any later clinical review. A morning of examinations does not establish that every result will be ready that day. Agree delivery after departure when needed.
Plan the visit and report dates →On-site payment must be agreed before the visit: confirm the recipient, place, method and deadline. Ordinary check-ups may be paid after arrival in China, in full before the first examination; hospital-required advance-payment exceptions must be explained and agreed in writing.
Check the payment arrangements →For a confirmed check-up package, distinguish the hospital-issued Chinese original and the agreed full English translation. A hospital-issued English report, any specific signature, hospital stamp or certification requirement, and the availability and delivery of DICOM files each need confirmation for the actual request. Shanghai · Ren’ai Hospital · optional package addition
Available only with a Ren’ai health-check package. No standalone MRI appointments. The US$150 is an additional single-region MRI price, not a whole-package price. Contrast, if required, costs extra.
The add-on includes the doctor’s order, English-speaking accompaniment, the hospital’s Chinese report with English translation, and DICOM image files.
Check your package first: Ren’ai Men’s Select 03 (US$778) and Women’s Select 03 (US$790) already include MRI of one region chosen from head, cervical spine or lumbar spine. Do not add another charge for an examination already included.
The hospital confirms the exact region, clinical suitability and availability before booking. Agree any extras, appointment time, report/translation delivery and DICOM access instructions in the written plan; no same-day timing or coverage of every region is promised.

VIP personal service means MyChinaCheckup’s individual coordination and accompaniment. It does not promise a hospital VIP ward, priority medical access or a medical outcome.
Some results may take longer due to hospital review or the type of examination. We will confirm the expected timing for your plan before booking and keep you informed of any delays. Reports can be sent electronically, so you do not need to remain in China to receive them. Existing accepted quotes and service agreements keep their agreed terms.

Receive the exact campus, appointment and written total before travelling to the hospital. MyChinaCheckup coordinates the visit; hospital clinicians decide which examinations are suitable.

For confirmed visits on or before 31 December 2026, the agreed price includes the hospital check-up fee, coordination and English-speaking accompaniment specified in your written plan. There is no additional charge for those included services. Tests outside the agreed package require a disclosed price and your approval before proceeding.
Treatment, medicines, travel to and from the hospital, accommodation and tests outside your selected package are not included. Additional tests are paid for separately. Priority arrangements for international visitors are subject to hospital availability; immediate access or no waiting time cannot be guaranteed.
For amounts already paid, cancel at least 48 hours before the appointment for a full refund. With less notice, only actual non-refundable provider costs already incurred are deducted; the eligible balance is refunded.
