Why she included a check-up in her Shanghai visit
In her public video description, Yana explains that she chose a comprehensive health check while in Shanghai. Her vlog offers a first-person look at the hospital visit and what surprised her along the way.
Her description mentions blood tests, imaging and women’s health screening. The right tests for another visitor may be different. A clinician must assess medical suitability; a coordinator helps confirm the agreed appointment arrangements.

Understand the price in her story
Her short video describes her personal experience as costing under US$1,000. That statement refers to her visit, with its own scope and timing. It is not a promise that every visitor can book the same examinations for that amount.
For a new appointment, request an itemised written quote confirming the hospital and campus, examination list, any MRI or CT body regions, English support and report arrangements. Confirm anything outside the agreed plan before payment.

Turn the story into your own visit plan
- Choose your starting point: use the Shanghai route selector for a routine package, a named examination or clinical review first. Current published package prices are shown there; the cost mentioned in Yana’s video describes her historical visit.
- Confirm your own scope: compare the actual hospital and campus, examination list and four included package services. If you want MRI or CT, use the Shanghai imaging-addition checklist to identify the region and request a separate accepted quote.
- Plan the visit and records: ask the hospital for appointment-specific preparation, then agree report translation and any available imaging-file delivery before departure.
- Start your enquiry: share your Shanghai dates and priorities. The hospital confirms clinical suitability and availability before a booking is agreed.
For a new routine check-up, the hospital visit is estimated at about 2–3.5 hours. The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Additional imaging, other tests or specialist review outside the listed package require separate arrangements. These current arrangements do not establish Yana’s historical report timeline.
