Personalised check-up planning

Personalised health check-ups
in China.

Start with your priorities, previous reports and travel dates. We coordinate the proposal and appointments; the hospital assesses which examinations are appropriate.

A visit that fits

Start with what
matters to you.

A fixed package may not fit every visit. Ask about dates, location, interpretation, report translation or other practical arrangements. Each service and fee is confirmed in the written proposal.

  • Timing & destination

Discuss your city, travel window and appointment preferences.

  • Communication & reports

Clarify available English support, report language and delivery arrangements.

  • Optional local support

Discuss transfers and other practical needs without assuming they are included.

  • Provider review

The provider determines suitable tests, preparation and clinical follow-up.

From a request to an agreed plan

How a personalised check-up is put together

A comprehensive understanding of your health does not necessarily require every available test. A useful plan makes the purpose, hospital assessment and practical arrangements clear before you accept it.

  1. Tell us what you want to resolve

Share your city, dates, priorities, budget range and language needs. Each adult has their own request, even when travelling or paying together. No passport copy or medical records are needed in the initial enquiry.

  2. Identify the reports you already have

List the dates and types of available reports or images. We agree a private channel for the records the receiving team needs. The doctor decides whether earlier results can be used; sending a report does not by itself mean it has been clinically reviewed.

  3. Ask the hospital to assess the request

The receiving team confirms suitability, any consultation needed first and the proposed examinations. A coordinator helps communicate your priorities and questions. Medical assessment and the examination order remain with the hospital.

  4. Clarify what to keep, remove or add

Review the proposed list with the hospital. Identify items you do not want, questions that need clinical review and any suggested additions. Removing an item does not automatically create a discount or credit; confirm the revised scope and total. Any separately priced addition needs your approval before proceeding.

  5. Agree the final list and visit arrangements

The written plan identifies the hospital and campus, accepted examinations, pending requests, included accompaniment, total, payment terms and report arrangements. Hospital-confirmed appointment times are recorded separately from your payment acknowledgement. If consultation changes the plan, keep the revised list and charges together.

See the process in Gus’s Guangzhou visit: existing reports and priorities informed discussions with the hospital, and items he did not want were left out of the agreed plan. When a factory visit delayed his arrival on 20 October 2026, Lucy coordinated with hospital staff to move the consultation back by 30 minutes. That individual arrangement is not a guarantee that another late arrival can be accommodated.

Your selected, confirmed package

Four services included in your package

All listed check-up tests

The examinations and consumables expressly listed for your selected package, with its eligibility conditions.

Personalized VIP coordination

Individual appointment planning, visit coordination and support through report delivery.

Dedicated English-speaking accompaniment throughout your check-up

A dedicated English-speaking companion supports you throughout your hospital check-up visit.

Hospital-issued Chinese report + full English translation

Your hospital’s original Chinese report and complete English translation, usually expected within 3–5 working days after all agreed check-up examinations have been completed.

These four services are included in the price of your selected, confirmed package. Extra tests, treatment, medicines, transport and accommodation are not included unless expressly listed in your written plan; separately priced additions require your approval.

VIP personal service means MyChinaCheckup’s individual coordination and accompaniment. It does not promise a hospital VIP ward, priority medical access or a medical outcome.

Some results may take longer due to hospital review or the type of examination. We will confirm the expected timing for your plan before booking and keep you informed of any delays. Reports can be sent electronically, so you do not need to remain in China to receive them. Existing accepted quotes and service agreements keep their agreed terms.

For confirmed visits through 31 December 2026, the agreed price includes the English-speaking accompaniment specified in your plan. Confirm the applicable quote for later visits.

The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are usually expected within 3–5 working days after all agreed check-up examinations have been completed.

Plan the rest of the visit explicitly

Tell us about these requests at the start so their availability, sequence and costs can be checked. A check-up package does not automatically include additional appointments, purchases or travel support. For non-check-up medical services, MyChinaCheckup’s role is appointment coordination and agreed language support; the receiving healthcare provider supplies assessment and care.

Illustrative planning scenarios

From a travel plan to a confirmed health-check visit

These anonymous examples show decisions to resolve, not completed cases, medical recommendations or a promise of availability. Choose the situation closest to your question; the hospital confirms medical suitability and the accepted written plan determines your services and charges.

A short visit: can several examinations fit into one morning?

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A visitor has one free morning and a fixed departure time.
Possible paths
Ask the hospital to confirm a feasible core visit; arrange an additional appointment on another day, or leave an optional request out of this trip. Several requested services do not automatically become one appointment.
Must confirm
Preparation, each department’s acceptance and time, travel between locations, the latest departure constraint and which reports will follow later. Same-day completion cannot be guaranteed.
Next step
Send the hard departure time and separate essential requests from optional ones. Obtain the accepted schedule before committing to onward travel.

Plan a limited-time visit

A fixed budget: compare the final list and itemised additions

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A visitor wants a personalised list within a firm spending limit.
Possible paths
Compare a named base package plus hospital-accepted additions with a revised list, if the hospital offers one. Keep optional items separately priced until approved.
Must confirm
What is already included; accepted omissions or replacements; the final total; coordination, accompaniment and report scope; and exclusions. Removing a test does not automatically earn a credit.
Next step
Request two clearly labelled written options with itemised additions. Choose one current version rather than combining items from different quotations.

Match a personal list to a package

An existing condition, with a general check-up as the main goal

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A visitor has an existing diagnosis but is mainly seeking a general health check.
Possible paths
Ask the hospital to assess the screening request using relevant existing records. A separate specialist consultation can be considered; any imaging or other additions remain subject to clinical assessment and the visitor’s approval.
Must confirm
Which records the clinician needs, the accepted examination list, whether a consultation is needed first, separate appointments and separately quoted costs. A screening package is not treatment for an existing condition.
Next step
Start with the planning goal and travel dates. Share requested medical records only through the agreed private channel, then obtain the hospital’s proposed next step.

Separate check-up and specialist appointments

Two adults with children: can appointments be staggered?

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
Two adults want different examinations while their children travel with them.
Possible paths
Request staggered appointments if the hospital can accommodate them, use different visit days, or bring another responsible adult. Each adult has a separate plan.
Must confirm
Who supervises the children throughout, waiting-area and examination-room rules, accepted appointment times and what happens if both adults are called together. Accompaniment is not childcare.
Next step
Provide a simple supervision and appointment plan. Obtain the hospital’s confirmation before relying on staggered checks; arrange any child’s medical appointment separately.

Plan a family visit

Leaving China before the reports: electronic files or signed originals?

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A visitor will leave before report delivery and a receiving organisation asks for signed or stamped documents.
Possible paths
Use the agreed electronic delivery for the Chinese original and English translation. Ask separately whether a hospital-issued English document, certified copy or paper original can be supplied when required.
Must confirm
Recipient consent, delivery dates, access from abroad, the exact issuer and signature/stamp requirement, any separately requested DICOM files and any agreed charges. Translation is not medical interpretation or automatic hospital endorsement.
Next step
List each required document and its recipient. Keep sent, accessible and clinician-reviewed statuses separate.

Plan reports after departure

An overseas QR payment fails or asks for verification

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A visitor cannot complete a payment because of an app, camera, bank or identity-verification step.
Possible paths
Pause and check whether the transaction is pending before retrying. Ask the payment provider about its verification requirements and ask the coordinator to reconfirm the official recipient and an available method for this order.
Must confirm
The current written amount, currency, payment deadline, transaction status and hospital appointment status. An agreed on-site payment arrangement must be confirmed beforehand; a failed attempt does not change the terms.
Next step
Share a redacted error description through the agreed contact. Do not send passwords, one-time codes or card details, and do not bypass payment-provider verification.

Resolve a payment problem

A pregnancy appointment, rather than a routine screening package

Illustrative planning scenario — not an account of a completed client visit.

Request
A pregnant visitor wants to plan an antenatal appointment during a trip.
Possible paths
Request the appropriate maternity or obstetric appointment. The clinician reviews gestational stage and previous maternity records to decide the suitable visit; do not substitute an ordinary health-check package for that assessment.
Must confirm
The reported pregnancy stage, prior appointments and available records, department acceptance, language support, timing, quotation and record handover. The receiving clinician determines examinations and preparation.
Next step
State that the request is for antenatal care and provide travel timing. Share the maternity records requested by the clinical team privately before confirming the visit.

Separate women’s screening and clinical care

Pregnancy-care background: NHS antenatal care and appointments explains pregnancy-specific care and maternity records. It does not establish a Chinese hospital’s schedule or package.
