Medical Diagnostics in China
Medical Diagnostics in China for International Visitors
MRI, CT, ultrasound and endoscopy coordination · Updated 9 October 2026
MyChinaCheckup helps international visitors request diagnostic tests through selected hospitals in China. We can coordinate a preferred date, including a next-day request where the hospital has capacity and its clinical team accepts the request. We do not promise immediate testing: the hospital confirms suitability, preparation and the final slot.
Ren’ai MRI with a health-check package
US$150 per single body region as an optional addition to a Ren’ai health-check package. No standalone MRI appointments. Contrast costs extra; confirm the exact region and clinical acceptance.
See the add-on scope and included records →CT scan in China for foreigners
Ask whether contrast, renal-function testing or a specific protocol is needed. The hospital decides preparation and clinical suitability.
Request a CT quote →Ultrasound and specialist review
State the body area and whether you need a specialist consultation after imaging. Timing depends on the department and appointment availability.
Plan ultrasound review →Gastroscopy and colonoscopy assessment
“Painless” usually means sedation or anaesthesia supervised by the hospital. Confirm fasting, escort and recovery instructions before booking.
Endoscopy planning guide →What to include in your first request
Name the examination and clinical question, not only “a complete scan”. MRI regions, non-contrast CT, contrast CT, coronary CT angiography and coronary calcium scoring are different requests. FIT or stool blood testing does not establish endoscopy inclusion. Use the relevant examination guide and the complete package list; the hospital confirms suitability and any required consultation.
For a child or a specialist concern, first request confirmation of an appropriate clinical assessment and accepting provider. No paediatric appointment or service is implied by an adult package listing.
- City, passport nationality, preferred date and departure deadline.
- Body part, symptoms or screening purpose, plus previous reports.
- Whether you need English coordination, translated reports and image files.
- Any implant, pregnancy, allergy, kidney or medication information relevant to safety.
Timing and reports
Confirm the appointment length and any recovery arrangements for the accepted examination. A routine check-up visit estimate does not establish an MRI, CT or endoscopy appointment schedule. The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Examinations outside the listed package require their own confirmed report arrangements. Arrange electronic delivery and any necessary follow-up before departure.
