Your questions, explained

Is MyChinaCheckup a Hospital or a Coordination Service?

Updated 3 October 2026 · MyChinaCheckup editorial review

By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Updated

MyChinaCheckup is a health-check planning and coordination service, not a hospital or medical provider. It is the specialist platform of Access China Med, operated by Nanjing Xurun Health Consulting Co., Ltd. (南京旭润健康咨询有限公司), based in Nanjing. The selected hospital provides examinations and medical care; our written arrangement defines booking assistance, communication support and report coordination.

Your payment recipient and documents

The operating and payment-receiving company is Nanjing Xurun Health Consulting Co., Ltd. (南京旭润健康咨询有限公司), based in Nanjing, China. MyChinaCheckup is the specialist health-check planning platform of Access China Med. The hospital provides examinations and clinical decisions; our team provides the agreed coordination and language support.

  1. Before payment: receive the itemised written quote, exact payment recipient, amount and currency, included services and applicable cancellation and refund conditions. The quote separates each attendee, package and approved addition.
  2. After payment is received: we send a payment confirmation and arrange a Chinese tax invoice (fapiao) issued by Nanjing Xurun Health Consulting Co., Ltd. (南京旭润健康咨询有限公司) through the company’s actual invoicing process. Confirm the required invoice details and expected issue time before paying. Use the existing itemised English quote as the English cost breakdown.
  3. Hospital documents and appointment confirmation: a company tax invoice acknowledges the company’s invoiced transaction; it is distinct from a hospital-issued receipt or bill and from appointment confirmation. Hospital letterhead, stamps, document availability and issue dates must be checked with the particular hospital. None of these documents guarantees employer or insurance reimbursement.

Payment-document information confirmed by the operator on 7 October 2026. This is not a new hospital tariff confirmation. Already accepted quotes and booking terms remain subject to their existing agreement.

What does the coordination service provide?

StagePractical support to agree
Choosing an optionClarify your travel dates, priorities, hospital campus and exact examination list.
Arranging the appointmentRequest availability and confirm the appointment details and preparation instructions.
Attending the hospitalArrange the agreed English-speaking accompaniment and meeting point.
Receiving documentsCoordinate the hospital-issued Chinese report and the agreed English translation.
Questions afterwardsHelp contact the provider or arrange a further appointment when needed; clinical interpretation belongs to the clinician.

Your written plan defines the included scope. A request for support throughout a trip, a separate specialist visit, transport or treatment needs its own arrangement and any additional price.

These four services are included in the price of your selected, confirmed package. Extra tests, treatment, medicines, transport and accommodation are not included unless expressly listed in your written plan; separately priced additions require your approval.

VIP personal service means MyChinaCheckup’s individual coordination and accompaniment. It does not promise a hospital VIP ward, priority medical access or a medical outcome.

Will someone collect me from my hotel?

The usual check-up arrangement is to meet the English-speaking coordinator at the hospital. If you want collection from your hotel and return travel, ask for that separately. We check the location, availability and price before you decide. An estimate from another visitor’s journey is not a fixed transfer price.

How can I verify the service before paying?

  • Check the company name and payment recipient against your written arrangement.
  • Request the full hospital name, campus, appointment date and itemised examination list.
  • Confirm the English support, report translation, timing and contact for changes.
  • Clarify the total, any requested extras, payment method and cancellation terms.
  • Use the hospital’s official contact channel if you want to verify a department or resolve a conflicting detail.

Confirm the scope and agreed total before full payment. An enquiry alone does not reserve a hospital appointment. A published hospital listing does not by itself establish an endorsement or partnership.

Can I ask for a plain-language checklist instead of only a package PDF?

Yes. Ask us to list the examinations and services in your written plan, including any MRI body region, coronary CT angiography (CCTA), sedation or specialist consultation you are requesting. The hospital must assess the clinical requirements and availability. A PDF, photograph and chat message should describe the same agreed scope.

If two people are attending, ask for each person’s test list and an explicit combined total or separate totals. This avoids confusing a couples proposal with a per-person price.

Questions before you book

Is MyChinaCheckup a hospital?

No. MyChinaCheckup coordinates practical arrangements and agreed English support. The selected hospital provides medical care, performs examinations and makes clinical decisions.

Are English accompaniment and report translation the same service?

No. Accompaniment supports communication during the agreed visit; report translation provides an English version of the hospital’s written report. Confirm both scopes and who provides any clinical explanation.

Can you guarantee a diagnosis or a particular medical outcome?

No. The hospital’s clinicians assess your circumstances and explain the findings. Coordination helps arrange the visit and communication; it does not guarantee a diagnosis, treatment result or that every disease will be detected.

An enquiry does not confirm an appointment. No medical records are needed in your first website enquiry.

Who is responsible for each part of your visit?

A clear booking should identify the people responsible for clinical decisions and for practical arrangements. Ask for the hospital and campus name, the service being booked, and the coordinator's role before payment. A coordinator can relay your questions; the clinician answers questions about diagnosis, test suitability and treatment.

QuestionResponsible party
Is this examination appropriate for me?The hospital's clinical team
Which campus, date and package are being requested? Our coordinator, with hospital confirmation
Who performs the examination and issues the original result? The medical provider
What English support and report handover are included? The written service arrangement

What should the coordination fee accomplish?

Judge coordination by the tasks agreed for your visit: clarifying the package, contacting the correct department, checking the campus, communicating your requirements, arranging agreed English support, and following up on report delivery. Ask which tasks are included and which require a separate arrangement.

Yana’s Shanghai health check-up video story offers a visitor’s first-person view of her hospital experience. For your visit, confirm the exact examination list, language support and report arrangements in your written plan with the hospital and coordination team.

Who receives payment, and what does it include?

Under our current arrangement, the agreed check-up total is paid to our operating company after the hospital, campus, package, appointment date and total have been confirmed in writing. The company coordinates payment for the agreed hospital services. Confirm the payee details and payment reference against the written arrangement before sending funds.

For confirmed visits through 31 December 2026, the agreed total includes the hospital check-up fee, coordination and the English accompaniment specified in the plan. Tests, medicines or treatment outside that scope require a separate disclosed price and your approval. Read the payment, cancellation and refund terms alongside your quote.

What does a hospital listing actually mean?

A hospital appearing in our directory is an option to investigate. A listing does not by itself establish a partnership contract, a reserved appointment, current package availability or the hospital's endorsement of our service. Where details need confirmation, that status should be visible rather than replaced by an unsupported verification date.

Before committing to a visit, request a record of the specific booking confirmation and any outstanding conditions. A reply to an enquiry is not the same as a reserved slot. You may also verify the department through the hospital's official contact channel; tell us if a detail conflicts so it can be resolved.

What records should you have before travelling?

Keep a small booking file containing the confirmed hospital address, appointment details, examination list, total price, payment record, preparation instructions and the agreed report-delivery method. Include the cancellation terms and a contact for changes. These documents let you check what was agreed without relying on a long chat history.

The team page explains Steven's international coordination role, Lucy's Shenzhen support role, Leslie's Guangzhou support role and Shea's Shanghai support role. Your individual plan should confirm who will attend and when; a team biography does not reserve a named person's availability. Ask separately about support after the hospital visit, including report questions and any new appointment request.

Common questions

Do I have to use MyChinaCheckup to book a Chinese hospital?

No. You can investigate direct hospital booking. Our service is an optional way to coordinate the practical work and agreed English support, especially when several appointments or report arrangements need to be connected.

Can a coordinator interpret an abnormal result medically?

A coordinator can help arrange communication or a follow-up appointment, but does not diagnose the finding or choose treatment. Ask the medical provider for the clinical explanation and next steps.

Does paying the company mean all future treatment is included?

No. Payment covers the written agreed scope. Further consultations, examinations, medicines or treatment need their own confirmed arrangements and any additional costs disclosed before approval.
