Guangzhou Executive Health Check: Plan the Visit and Quote
By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Updated
For an executive health check in Guangzhou, define the schedule and service you need before choosing a package. “Executive” does not by itself guarantee a private route, every scan, a particular clinician or completion before your next meeting.
Can Foreign Business Visitors Get a Health Check in Guangzhou?
Foreign business visitors can enquire about hospital health checks in Guangzhou with English-speaking support. MyChinaCheckup helps clarify the test list, coordinate the appointment and arrange the accompaniment and reports specified in your written plan. Before booking, confirm that the selected hospital accepts your registration, and allow for the journey from your hotel as well as time at the hospital.
I do not speak Chinese. What will the English support do?
Your agreed support can cover the meeting point, registration steps, hospital navigation and communication during the check-up. Ask who will accompany you and which parts of the visit are covered. The hospital’s clinicians perform the examinations and answer clinical questions; a coordinator does not make diagnoses.
Do not infer English-speaking clinicians from an “international” or “VIP” department label. If you need a specialist consultation or detailed discussion of an earlier result, ask for that appointment and its language arrangements explicitly.
Your selected, confirmed package
Four services included in your package
All listed check-up tests
The examinations and consumables expressly listed for your selected package, with its eligibility conditions.
Personalized VIP coordination
Individual appointment planning, visit coordination and support through report delivery.
Dedicated English-speaking accompaniment throughout your check-up
A dedicated English-speaking companion supports you throughout your hospital check-up visit.
Hospital-issued Chinese report + full English translation
Your hospital’s original Chinese report and complete English translation, delivered within 3–5 working days after the listed package examinations are completed.
These four services are included in the price of your selected, confirmed package. Extra tests, treatment, medicines, transport and accommodation are not included unless expressly listed in your written plan; separately priced additions require your approval.
VIP personal service means MyChinaCheckup’s individual coordination and accompaniment. It does not promise a hospital VIP ward, priority medical access or a medical outcome.
Can I fit the visit between supplier meetings?
| Part of your plan | What to settle |
|---|---|
| Before the visit | Available morning, confirmed campus, preparation instructions and travel buffer. |
| At the hospital | The routine package estimate is around 2–3.5 hours; additional examinations can change it. |
| After the visit | Return travel and time before your next fixed meeting. |
| After you leave China | Delivery of outstanding Chinese reports, English translation and any agreed images. |
A free afternoon does not guarantee that the selected health-check department accepts afternoon appointments. Ask about its actual booking hours. Follow the hospital’s test-specific preparation instructions.
Can my assistant or employer organise the appointment?
They can help share your travel window and administrative requirements with your permission. Identify the patient, the person arranging the visit and the person receiving payment documents. Keep report recipients separate: an employer’s payment does not authorise access to personal medical results.
Before payment, request a written record of the hospital, campus, appointment date, exact examination list, agreed support and total. Confirm what happens if a supplier meeting or flight changes.
Questions before you book
Can I get help without finding and calling hospitals myself?
You can send MyChinaCheckup your Guangzhou dates, hotel area and priorities. We can help compare the listed options, contact the relevant hospital and coordinate the agreed visit. The hospital must confirm availability and the clinical requirements.
Does an executive package guarantee no waiting?
No. The hospital controls appointment slots and the examination sequence. Any private route, particular clinician or priority arrangement must be confirmed; an executive label alone does not guarantee it.
What documents do I need for registration?
Ask the selected hospital which registration details and documents it requires. Plan to bring your original passport and appointment confirmation. No passport image is required in the first website enquiry.
An enquiry does not confirm an appointment. No medical records are needed in your first website enquiry.
Turn an executive request into a confirmed plan
Start with the fixed parts of your trip: hotel, meetings, Fair attendance and departure. Then identify whether you want a routine check-up, a specific clinical consultation or an imaging request. Those can require different appointments.
- Which morning can you protect from meetings?
- Do you need one-to-one English accompaniment for the agreed visit?
- Are privacy, companion access or a particular department important to you?
- Which reports and payment documents are needed after the trip?
Compare campuses, not just premium labels
Our Guangzhou listings include Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital’s North campus VIP department and four other hospital options. That department label does not establish availability or superiority for your clinical needs. Compare the actual package list, appointment arrangements and written support confirmation.
| Hospital listing | Listed campus / department | Selected package range |
|---|---|---|
| Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital | North campus · VIP department | US$712–US$1,122 |
| Nanfang Hospital | Southern Medical University | US$327–US$1,021 |
| Zhujiang Hospital | Southern Medical University | US$358–US$1,033 |
| Guangzhou First People’s Hospital | Guangzhou | US$268–US$1,007 |
| First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University | Yanjiang campus | US$322–US$910 |

Protect the appointment window
Routine on-site time is usually around 2–3.5 hours, excluding your hotel journey. Keep an appropriate buffer before a fixed meeting. If you want MRI, CT or another additional examination, have its slot and preparation confirmed separately rather than assuming it fits the check-up morning.
For Fair visits, use the Canton Fair planning guide and campus and travel checklist. A coordinator can help clarify logistics; the hospital controls the clinical sequence.
English support and the people involved
Confirm who meets you, the meeting point, the contact method and what the agreed accompaniment covers. Ask whether a particular consultation requires a separate interpreter arrangement. English support should be written into your plan instead of inferred from an international or VIP label.
If an assistant is booking on your behalf, clarify who can receive appointment information and who may receive medical records. An employer paying the bill does not automatically become the recipient of your reports.
Leave with a record and payment plan
The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Agree delivery after departure, any image files, clinical review and a contact for late items.
Ask about invoice details before paying and separate medical documents from expense paperwork. A current itemised quote is more useful than an old visitor’s total. The first enquiry can be brief: city, travel dates, available morning and the service you need.

Start with your city and dates
Tell us the service you need and your travel window. No passport image or medical records are needed for the first enquiry. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment.
