US Visitor Health Check-up in China in One Day
Updated 14 September 2026 · MyChinaCheckup
Use this itinerary to separate a routine hospital appointment from travel preparation and later report delivery. Confirm your individual clinical plan, timing and written quote before payment.
Most useful 4-step plan
- Confirm exact objective: routine screening, medical re-check after symptoms, or employer pre-travel compliance.
- Request written scope: fasting rules, scan list, clinic team, and whether review report is bilingual.
- Set communication window for report delivery and escalation contacts in case results arrive after departure.
- Check cancellation policy for flight/date changes and whether date shifts cause any fee impact.
Important exclusions to ask in advance
- Airport transfers and hotel pick-up (usually not included by default).
- Repeat tests after abnormal findings and specialist treatment sessions.
- Extended translation for full doctor-to-doctor referral documents.
Appointment time and report time
A routine hospital visit is usually estimated at 2–3.5 hours. The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Tests outside the listed package have their own arrangements. Agree delivery after departure when needed; expedited or same-day reports require specific hospital confirmation.
Keep the visit focused on your actual needs
Define what outcome you need from this visit. If you are checking prevention only, keep tests focused. If you need employer-facing proof, include the complete summary and report wording in English to avoid later confusion.

Make a one-day visit work with a US itinerary
Separate three milestones: arriving in China, completing the agreed hospital examinations, and receiving reports. Allow travel flexibility before the confirmed appointment and agree preparation with the hospital. A one-day appointment does not promise one-day results or completion of every additional scan.
- Before travel: ask your US doctor about the relevant clinical question and any prior records worth bringing; confirm entry requirements separately through official guidance.
- Before the appointment: confirm the campus, exact tests, any imaging order, English support and complete quoted total.
- Before leaving the hospital: check which tests remain outstanding, how each report or image file will be supplied, and how clinical follow-up questions will be handled.
- After returning home: use the secure submission method agreed with your US clinic and arrange a review appointment if required.
Do not promise an employer that a routine check-up will satisfy a particular employment or travel requirement without first checking its required form and provider criteria. Do not rely on expedited reports unless the hospital has specifically confirmed the deliverable and date.
