Practical check-up guide
Zhongshan Sheshan Packages: Compare All Six Lists and Scan Conditions
By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Published
Catalogue checked 13 October 2026.
Zhongshan Sheshan’s package comparison turns on the imaging conditions as much as the headline prices. Men’s 02 and Women’s 02 each list a CT choice between two unspecified options. Men’s 03 names brain MRI and chest CT. Women’s 03 names chest CT but retains an alternative-selection note that does not identify the other choice.
These are materially different descriptions. An unspecified CT choice cannot be presented as two included scans, and the Women’s 03 note cannot safely be discarded simply because its row title says chest CT. Several packages also repeat the unqualified word “Ultrasound”, leaving the regions unknown.
This guide puts every published row from the six MyChinaCheckup Sheshan listings into one matrix, keeps duplicated entries visible and separates exact names from unresolved scope. The purpose is to help you obtain a usable package specification, not to rank tests or decide which examinations are appropriate.

Prices and lists were retrieved on 13 October 2026. These are MyChinaCheckup’s operator-catalogue reference prices in USD for one person’s whole named package, not independently verified hospital direct-booking tariffs or a reserved appointment. Each source page says its presentation was checked on 7 October 2026 against the website catalogue; that is a different date from this comparison and does not establish a new hospital tariff confirmation.
Arithmetic differences between adjacent numbers are M02 minus M01: US$362; M03 minus M02: US$312; W02 minus W01: US$441; W03 minus W02: US$61. These differences do not price individual examinations, promise substitutions or establish medical value. Published age, sex and marital-status labels need individual provider clarification; they are not recommendations or proof of eligibility.
Men’s 01: named organs with a PSA-label question
Men’s 01 is listed at US$344. Its 18 rows include chest CT, ECG, ultrasound of the prostate and bladder, ultrasound of liver/gallbladder/pancreas/spleen/kidneys, a urology examination and a urine physical/chemical and formed-element examination. The blood-count, liver, kidney and lipid rows are broad panels with unspecified components.
The prostate-health row is written “Prostate Health (Free Prostate-Specific Antigen PSA, Prostate-Specific Antigenf-PSA)”. Its free/PSA/f-PSA wording needs clarification. This comparison preserves the label and does not silently rewrite it as a confirmed total/free PSA specification. Similarly, the tumour-marker row uses names and bare numbers in one string; ask for the exact agreed marker list rather than extending the shorthand.
Men’s 02: clarify the CT choice and both unnamed ultrasounds
Men’s 02 costs US$706 and publishes 20 rows, including two separate occurrences of “Ultrasound”. It also names thyroid ultrasound, combined abdominal-organ ultrasound and prostate/bladder ultrasound. The two unnamed occurrences are retained as a count of two catalogue rows, not assigned two additional anatomical regions.
The CT title states “select one of two options” with sites unspecified, and its detail confirms an alternative selection. The page cannot tell you which body regions are offered or which scan will appear in the appointment. It also introduces a thyroid function panel, “Tumor Marker (Male)” and “Pancreas”, whose components or method are not established. Men’s 01’s urology and specifically worded urine examination rows are not reproduced explicitly in 02. A US$362 higher price is not a basis for carrying them forward.
Men’s 03: brain MRI is named, but keep the exact scope
Men’s 03 is US$1,018. It retains 18 of the 19 distinct exact labels in Men’s 02; only the CT-choice label is not reproduced. The repeated “Ultrasound” label still occurs twice. It names brain MRI, chest CT and urinalysis where 02 has no exact corresponding rows. This produces 22 published rows in 03.
Brain MRI is a specific source label. The listing does not establish MRA, a spine MRI, whole-body MRI, contrast or an additional region. Both its brain MRI and chest CT entries exclude physical film in the published details. The US$312 difference from 02 is a difference between complete package prices, not a separately available MRI tariff or a claim of medical benefit.
The named CT and MRI rows make 03 more explicit on those points, but its “Tumor Marker (Male)”, “Pancreas”, broad panels and unnamed ultrasound rows remain unresolved. Ask for one complete specification rather than solving one imaging question and assuming the rest.
Women’s lists differ in approach, naming and conditions
Women’s 01, at US$446, is labelled by the operator as “provider specifies married”. It expressly names TCT, a gynaecology examination with the same label, transvaginal ultrasound with that condition, and a bilateral breast/axillary lymph node assessment. The assessment’s components are unspecified; it should not be renamed as a particular scan. Its urine entry uses the longer physical/chemical and formed-element wording. The surgery-department examination appears twice.
Women’s 02, at US$887, adds an HPV label and uses a general gynaecology-examination label. It has named breast and thyroid ultrasound plus three occurrences of unqualified “Ultrasound”. Its CT row is the same unresolved one-of-two choice used in Men’s 02. The unnamed ultrasound rows do not establish a transvaginal examination or substitute for written consent and a defined approach.
Women’s 03, at US$948, again carries the operator’s “provider specifies married” label and expressly names transvaginal ultrasound with that condition. It lists TCT, HPV, carbon-13 urea breath testing, urinalysis, a longer tumour-marker string, a bilateral breast/axillary assessment and a thyroid/neck-vessel/mass/lymph-node assessment. The two broad assessment labels are not evidence of a particular imaging method. The surgery-department row and unnamed “Ultrasound” row each occur twice.
The US$61 difference between Women’s 02 and 03 is relatively small compared with the other adjacent prices, but it does not make the specifications interchangeable. The breast/thyroid ultrasound names in 02 are replaced by differently worded assessment rows in 03; their equivalence is not established.
Women’s 03 has an unresolved CT condition
The Women’s 03 row is titled “chest CT”. Its detail also says that this is an alternative selection, not multiple included scans, and that physical film is not included. The title and condition must be read together. Ask which alternatives are being offered and which single option will be confirmed. The matrix marks this cell unresolved rather than presenting an unconditional chest CT entitlement.
None of the three women’s lists expressly names brain MRI. An unqualified ultrasound or broad assessment entry is not evidence of MRI inclusion. If an additional examination is discussed, its suitability, availability, scope and price need their own written confirmation.
Complete exact-label comparison matrix
The matrix covers all 131 published row occurrences across the six lists, represented by 37 distinct exact labels. Column codes refer to the linked package pages in the price table.
- L means that exact label is listed. It does not mean the appointment or suitability is confirmed.
- U means a row is listed but its component scope, examination identity or stated condition remains unresolved. Names explicitly present in a grouped title remain source evidence; unnamed components remain unknown.
- — means no row with that exact label appears in that package. It is not proof of exclusion: a differently named or unspecified panel may overlap, and its component inclusion is unknown.
- ×2 or ×3 records repeated occurrences of the same label. It does not establish two or three different examinations.
This matrix transcribes the visible English item titles and detail cells. Search keywords embedded in the page are not a hospital-issued bilingual specification and have not been used to fill gaps.
Exact spellings, abbreviations, bundled names and capitalisation are preserved. Similar names are not silently merged, and a multi-organ or multi-analyte row is not expanded into a guessed number of tests. The source’s generic descriptions do not establish a clinical method beyond the name. Read the notes and commentary alongside the cells; this is an exhaustive published-label matrix, not a verified hospital examination schedule.

Questions that would make this comparison usable
- For Men’s 02 or Women’s 02, what are the two CT options, and which single region and protocol will be booked?
- For Women’s 03, why does the chest CT row retain an alternative-selection condition, and what choice does it require?
- What regions and methods correspond to every repeated “Ultrasound”, breast/axillary assessment and thyroid/neck assessment row?
- Can you resolve the Men’s 01 PSA wording and list the components of each unnamed tumour-marker, thyroid, liver, kidney, lipid or blood-count panel?
- Will the written plan confirm Sheshan/Songjiang, the exact entrance, applicable eligibility and consent, report/image access, and the complete agreed total?
What the operator price covers, and what still needs agreement
The six package pages state that the selected, confirmed price includes the expressly listed examinations and consumables, personalised coordination, dedicated English-speaking accompaniment during the check-up, and the hospital’s Chinese report with a full English translation. Their published report term is 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in the confirmed package have been completed. This is an operator service statement; this comparison has not independently verified delivery at the hospital.
Additional tests, medicines, treatment, transport and accommodation are outside that scope unless expressly included in the written plan. Confirm the total, payment terms and any additions together. The pages expressly describe the agreed included-service policy for confirmed visits on or before 31 December 2026; request the applicable quote and terms for later dates. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment.
Sources and a practical next step
The six package links in the price table are the primary sources for this catalogue analysis. Their current visible English-language HTML examination tables, prices and item-specific notes were read on 13 October 2026. No package PDF was linked from the six package pages inspected for this campus. This is an HTML-catalogue analysis; a hospital-issued schedule, PDF version, live tariff and appointment acceptance have not been independently verified.
Use the Zhongshan Sheshan directory to check the listed campus and return to the individual package pages. The Shanghai health-check planning page explains the wider service and booking route. For the proposal itself, the Shanghai itemised-quote guide shows which costs and documents to confirm; the general package-comparison guide explains how to keep unresolved scope visible.
Send the two or three exact package links you are considering and the unresolved names from this comparison. Ask the coordinator for one current written list for each option and the hospital clinician about individual suitability. You do not need to send medical records for the initial package enquiry. More rows, markers or scans do not establish a better medical choice.
