C13 H. pylori Breath Tests in Sanya Check-up Packages

By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Published

The current Sanya lists include C13 urea breath testing in Men’s Advanced 02, Men’s Selected 03 and Women’s Advanced 02. It is not listed in the other three packages. If this examination is part of your request, identify the exact package and ask the hospital to confirm suitability and preparation.

Check the row in each independent list

Women’s Selected 03 does not automatically inherit the C13 test from Women’s Advanced 02. “Not listed” describes the published package scope; it does not determine whether an additional test is available or appropriate. Any proposed addition needs confirmation and a separate agreed price.

Understand the question this test addresses

A urea breath test is used to look for H. pylori infection. The test analyses exhaled breath after a labelled urea preparation is taken. It is different from gastroscopy, which allows a clinician to inspect the upper digestive tract and may involve tissue sampling. See the NIDDK explanation of diagnostic tests.

A breath-test result is not a general explanation for every digestive symptom. If your reason for booking is a symptom or an unresolved clinical question, tell the receiving team so the clinician can decide which appointment or examinations are appropriate. Do not treat a package list as an individual diagnostic plan.

Ask for preparation instructions for your situation

  • Tell the hospital about recent medicines and any recent H. pylori treatment.
  • Ask whether those details affect the test date or preparation.
  • Confirm food, drink and other instructions with the provider.
  • Ask what to do if you cannot follow the instructions or your travel dates change.

Do not stop or change medicines based on this guide. The hospital must give preparation advice for the actual test and clinical situation. If the timing is unsuitable, ask how that affects the accepted package or proposed appointment rather than assuming the test can proceed unchanged.

Confirm the result and follow-up handover

Ask how the result will appear in the hospital report, how the English translation will be delivered and who can explain its clinical meaning. If you leave Sanya before documents are ready, agree the delivery channel and contact in advance.

Treatment is not included merely because a package lists a breath test. Any clinician-recommended treatment, repeat testing or follow-up appointment requires a separate clinical and cost discussion.

Confirmed package services and timing

Your selected, confirmed check-up package price includes all listed examinations and consumables, personalised VIP coordination, dedicated English-speaking accompaniment throughout the check-up, and the hospital-issued Chinese report with a full English translation. Extras need a separately disclosed price and your acceptance.

Routine packages usually take 2–3.5 hours on site; additions or separate appointments can take longer. Both reports are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in the confirmed package are completed. This is not a deadline for a separate specialist diagnostic or treatment pathway.

For ordinary check-ups, payment can be made after arriving in China, but must be complete before the first examination. Any hospital-required advance payment is explained before you confirm the booking. Booking steps · Cancellation and refund terms.

Discuss your own plan

Explain the appointment or examination scope you want checked. An enquiry is free and does not reserve an appointment. The receiving provider confirms suitability, availability and the written plan.
