Women’s Health Checks in Chengdu: Packages and Gastroscopy Questions

Read the women’s package line by line

The Chengdu directory lists five hospitals with 30 men’s and women’s options. This guide addresses how to compare women’s examination lists and a possible additional digestive assessment. It is not a ranking of hospitals or a claim that every listed hospital can provide every requested procedure on the same day.

These examples were checked against MyChinaCheckup’s published catalogue on 8 October 2026. They describe catalogue entries, not newly verified hospital slots. Review the complete linked list and its eligibility conditions before requesting a quote.

A package with more items is not automatically a better fit. Ask which examinations address routine screening and whether a specific concern needs a consultation. The city directory flags the Chengdu Third People’s women’s 01 source list as awaiting hospital confirmation; resolve pending items before relying on that option.

Can I request gastroscopy with the check-up?

You can raise the request before booking, but it needs its own hospital confirmation. For example, someone with a previous stomach-ulcer concern may want to ask whether review of earlier findings, a consultation, an H. pylori test or gastroscopy is appropriate. That question should reach a clinician; it should not be answered by automatically adding a procedure to a screening bundle.

NIDDK explains that upper endoscopy examines the oesophagus, stomach and duodenum. A breath test has a different purpose and is not a view of the stomach lining. • Is a consultation or clinical order needed before the procedure can be accepted?
• Which hospital, campus and department would perform it, and is that the same site as the check-up?
• What preparation, medicine review, sedation discussion and recovery arrangements apply?
• What is included in the separate quote, and how would sampling or pathology, if needed, be handled?
• When will each result be issued, and who provides the clinical explanation?

Share your special requirements in the enquiry so we can understand what to arrange. The hospital may need supporting records through the agreed follow-up channel. A website enquiry does not reserve a procedure.

Colonoscopy is a separate decision

Gastroscopy and colonoscopy examine different parts of the digestive tract. Requesting one does not automatically request the other. If you want to discuss colonoscopy, keep it as a separate optional line with clinical assessment, preparation, availability and price to be confirmed. Your written proposal can mark the line “not requested”, “awaiting clinical review” or “accepted and quoted”. Only the last status should be treated as part of the agreed appointment. If two people are travelling together, make that decision separately for each attendee. Do not use a routine check-up time estimate to plan departure after an additional procedure.

English accompaniment, privacy and the written total

The price of your selected, confirmed package includes four services: all expressly listed examinations and consumables; personalised VIP coordination; dedicated English-speaking accompaniment throughout the hospital check-up; and the hospital-issued Chinese report with a full English translation. These services are included, not duplicate extras. VIP refers to personal coordination, not a guaranteed VIP ward or priority medical access.

Unlisted procedures, treatment, medicines, transport and accommodation require their own agreement if requested. Ask for the package amount, approved additions and total in a stated currency. For two attendees, request individual subtotals and a combined figure. Use the blank two-person quote checklist as a format; its Guangzhou examples are not Chengdu prices.

Request a female clinician or chaperone early if that matters to you, and ask what can be confirmed. English accompaniment does not give a companion automatic access to a private examination. Tell the team who may receive each person’s records. If different departments call two attendees at once, confirm the English-support arrangement for both routes.

Keep visit dates and report dates separate

Send your Chengdu arrival date, available mornings and departure date and time. Ask for one confirmed preparation sheet covering the final test list, especially if ultrasound, breath testing and a procedure are combined. If you will leave China before the report is complete, agree the delivery channel for the Chinese original, its full English translation and any separately requested scan files. The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Results from services outside the listed package and imaging files have their own arrangements. Use the records handover tracker and keep a contact for missing documents or clinical follow-up.

Request a Chengdu plan with clear priorities

Include your dates, number of attendees, preferred hospital or package if known, and the examinations or concerns you want to discuss. State whether gastroscopy is a question for clinical review and whether colonoscopy is not requested or something you wish to discuss separately. We can then seek a written plan with the accepted campus, scope, support, price and timing.
