Sanya Check-ups: Is Dental Cleaning Included?

Dental cleaning is not established by Sanya’s “basic oral examination” row. That examination is listed in Men’s and Women’s Basic 01 and Selected 03, and is not listed in Advanced 02. Cleaning, dental X-rays, fillings and other treatment are not automatically added to those packages.

A basic examination and a procedure are different services. The source describes an oral check; it does not price a course of dental treatment. The presence of an oral examination also does not confirm that a requested procedure can be booked in the same department or on the same day.
Describe the dental request separately
State whether you want an examination, cleaning, imaging, a discussion of an existing dental problem or another service. Ask which provider and appointment route would be needed. Do not assume that the check-up centre has already accepted a separate Sanya dental booking.
Professional cleaning removes deposits such as hardened tartar; it is not simply another name for looking at the teeth and gums. The NIDCR oral-hygiene guide explains that distinction in its discussion of plaque and tartar. A dentist determines the appropriate care.
Request an itemised proposal before combining visits
- Confirm the actual dental provider, address and appointment availability.
- Ask what the proposed fee includes and what would be assessed before a final treatment price.
- Check whether imaging, materials, language support and follow-up are separate.
- Confirm your acceptance before any additional procedure.
- Ask whether another appointment would be required and how that fits your trip.
A published dental story from another city cannot establish Sanya availability, prices or results. Use the accepted local quote and clinical plan for your own request.
Keep the screening and dental records separate
If both appointments are accepted, confirm their sequence and preparation requirements rather than assuming one can be inserted into a spare moment during screening. Record the contact for each appointment and the documents each provider will supply.
The standard check-up package report-and-translation commitment applies to its listed examinations. It does not automatically include a separate dental treatment plan, dental imaging or later review. Agree those deliverables explicitly if the dental request proceeds.
Confirmed package services and timing
Your selected, confirmed check-up package price includes all listed examinations and consumables, personalised VIP coordination, dedicated English-speaking accompaniment throughout the check-up, and the hospital-issued Chinese report with a full English translation. Extras need a separately disclosed price and your acceptance.
Routine packages usually take 2–3.5 hours on site; additions or separate appointments can take longer. Both reports are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in the confirmed package are completed. This is not a deadline for a separate specialist diagnostic or treatment pathway.
