Nanfang Check-up Packages: What Changes Between the Lists?

By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Published

Catalogue checked 13 October 2026.

Nanfang’s published package numbers do not form a reliable “everything in the previous tier, plus more” ladder. Men’s Check-up 02 retains the 27 exact item labels shown in Men’s Check-up 01 and adds 12 further labels. Men’s Check-up 03, despite its higher listed price, currently shows only six grouped rows. It cannot be treated as a documented expansion of either earlier list.

The women’s options also use different labels and imaging scopes. This article compares every row actually published across the six MyChinaCheckup Nanfang listings, with a separate record of what remains unspecified. It helps you request a precise written plan; it does not decide which tests are medically appropriate. The hospital clinician should make that decision with you.

Package and source Listed USD total per person Published item rows Published labels and eligibility questions
M01: Men’s check-up 01 US$327 27 Men; individual eligibility to confirm
M02: Men’s check-up 02 US$634 39 Men; published age guidance 18–48
M03: Men’s check-up 03 US$1,021 6 Men; published age guidance 18–48
W01: Women’s check-up 01 US$351 21 Provider specifies unmarried women; age guidance 18–45
W02: Women’s check-up 02 US$662 28 Women; individual eligibility to confirm
W03: Women’s check-up 03 US$1,012 34 Provider specifies married women; confirm individual eligibility

Catalogue age and marital-status labels are source conditions, not individual medical advice or proof of eligibility. Ask the provider to confirm suitability and consent. These are MyChinaCheckup website reference prices, not independently confirmed hospital tariffs or a personalised quote. The package pages state that their presentation was checked on 7 October 2026; this article retrieved the pages on 13 October 2026.

Arithmetic differences between adjacent numbered options: M02 minus M01: US$307; M03 minus M02: US$387; W02 minus W01: US$311; W03 minus W02: US$350. These are differences between whole-package totals, not item-by-item prices or estimates of medical value.

Where the men’s comparison is clear and where it stops

Men’s Check-up 01 is listed at US$327 and Men’s Check-up 02 at US$634. At the exact-label level, all 27 rows in 01 also appear in 02. The 12 additional labels in 02 are troponin T, lactate dehydrogenase, SCC, CA19-9, NSE, CYFRA21-1, the FT3/FT4/TSH panel, the PGⅠ/PGⅡ/G17 gastric panel, bone mineral density measurement, cervical spine X-ray, carotid artery ultrasound and the unresolved label “Ultrasound[]”. That final label cannot be assigned a body region from this page.

This is a US$307 difference between listed package totals, not an itemised price for those 12 rows. It does not establish the price of ordering any one of them separately. The list is also a mixture of individual examinations and panels, so 12 additional labels should not be described as 12 additional individual laboratory measurements.

Men’s Check-up 03 is US$1,021, US$387 above 02. Its six published rows are Lipid Panel2, kidney function panel, fasting blood glucose, a prostate assessment with unspecified components, ECG and kidney ultrasound. The available page does not support adding chest CT, a full blood count, carbon-13 breath testing, PSA measurements or the other 02 items to this column. Ask for the complete current specification before comparing this price as an upgrade. The short public list is an evidence limit, not proof that the hospital offers only those six services.

The women’s options are separate specifications

Women’s Check-up 01, at US$351, names breast, thyroid, carotid artery and liver/gallbladder/pancreas/spleen ultrasound, alongside entries labelled simply “Ultrasound” and “Ultrasound (Female)”. Those vague labels do not identify a pelvic approach or another body region. Its list also includes HbA1c, blood glucose, a blood-count panel and lipid panel, among other entries.

Women’s Check-up 02, at US$662, explicitly lists chest X-ray, transcranial Doppler ultrasound, transabdominal pelvic ultrasound of the uterus and adnexa, kidney/bladder ultrasound, carbon-13 breath testing, HE4 and a gynaecology examination. These are published names, not additions that can all be assumed to sit on top of 01 unchanged.

Women’s Check-up 03, at US$1,012, names chest CT, HPV genotyping, liquid-based cervical cytology, vaginal secretion examination, a bacterial vaginosis test, vitamin D, insulin and cystatin C. Its gynaecological examination label specifies married women. Confirm the applicable eligibility and consent for the actual appointment rather than using that label as medical advice. The list repeats the unspecific word “Ultrasound” twice; the matrix retains both occurrences and does not infer two named regions.

Chest X-ray in 02 and chest CT in 03 are different source labels. This comparison neither equates their clinical uses nor recommends changing modality. Ask the clinician about suitability and the coordinator to record the exact approved examination.

Panel and specimen questions the catalogue cannot answer

A row called “kidney function panel” or “liver function panel” does not justify filling every column with an assumed standard set of components. Some lipid titles specify TG, HDL-C, TC and LDL-C, while other options say only “Lipid Panel” or “Lipid Panel2”. The table preserves that distinction.

The Men’s 01 and 02 row “Urinary urea nitrogen” is accompanied by a note that its description labels it BUN and the specimen needs confirmation. Preserve that open question in the written plan. Similarly, keep generic ultrasound labels unresolved until the hospital names the region and approach. For imaging rows whose detail says physical film is not included, do not interpret the listed price as including printed films.

How to read the complete published-row matrix

M01–M03 and W01–W03 refer to the exact linked packages in the price table. “Listed” means that exact label appears on that page; it is not a reserved appointment or personalised clinical confirmation. “Not listed” means absent from the published rows, not unavailable at the hospital. “Conditional” requires the source eligibility condition below. “Pending” is expressly not a confirmed inclusion.

The matrix covers every available published row. Exact wording is deliberately preserved, including incomplete labels, panels, duplicate occurrences and variants that might refer to related examinations. We do not merge near-synonyms or unpack unnamed panel components. Row counts describe the catalogue structure, not the number of independent tests or the completeness of a clinical assessment. Supplies, reports and breakfast, where listed, are support items.

The package pages describe the same four included service categories across these six options. They state that the Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations in the confirmed package are completed. This timing starts after completion of the examinations, not simply on the day an enquiry is sent or the first appointment begins.

VIP coordination is MyChinaCheckup’s personal coordination and accompaniment service. It does not establish a hospital VIP ward, priority clinical access, English-speaking doctors or a guaranteed medical outcome. Confirm additional examinations and any separate charges in writing; do not add a second fee for a service already included in the agreed package.

A practical way to shortlist Nanfang

If you are comparing Men’s 01 and 02, use the named additions above to frame a clinical discussion, then confirm the agreed total. If Men’s 03 is under consideration, obtain a complete itemised list before deciding what the higher reference price buys. For a women’s option, check the actual imaging names, panel components and applicable examination conditions rather than relying on its number.

Send the exact package links you are considering when requesting a written quote. Ask the hospital to confirm any requested changes, preparation, campus and appointment, and clarify separately priced items before accepting them. Start from the Guangzhou health-check planning page or return to the Nanfang hospital directory. An enquiry is not a reservation.

Sources and review date
