A Canton Fair Morning: A Routine Check-up and a Separate Joint Consultation

By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Published

A business visitor has one free morning and wants a broad health baseline plus a review of a joint concern.

A generalized planning example based on anonymised enquiry themes. It is not a completed visit, testimonial or promised medical outcome. The hospital must confirm each proposed arrangement.

Separate the two goals

Keep routine screening and the joint consultation as two requests. Ask the receiving hospital which clinician can assess the concern and which previous records it needs. Do not select an MRI automatically to fit the package.

Build around the actual departure limit

Confirm the campus, check-up start, specialist slot and latest time the visitor can leave. Include travel to the next commitment. If both appointments cannot fit, offer a clearly described second-day or separate-visit proposal for the visitor to consider.

Agree what remains after the morning

Record any separate consultation, imaging or later results review with its own acceptance and cost. Agree delivery after departure where needed; neither a protected morning nor a consultation implies that every result will be available the same day.

Keep a stop-and-replan record for the morning

Keep the following blank status sheet with your written confirmations. It keeps the screening visit, joint consultation, any subsequently ordered examination and later clinical review on separate rows. The blank sheet is a personal planning aid; it does not book or cancel anything.

Before the day, write your fixed onward commitment and latest practical departure time. Ask the hospital or coordinator to record which proposed steps depend on a clinician's assessment or a result that has not yet been issued. Do not fill an unaccepted specialist time with the check-up start time.

If a delay threatens the next appointment, record the affected service, the person contacted and the option actually offered. Ask the clinical team what timing matters for care. Ask the booking contact what rescheduling changes in the quote and terms. A preferred fallback such as keeping the screening appointment does not cancel the consultation; obtain a separate confirmation of any change.

At departure, leave unfinished rows open. Each needs a next contact and an agreed next step, even if another service is complete. Record a consultation as completed only when it took place; receiving a report later is a different milestone.

For the screening part of the plan, compare Guangzhou check-up options. The two-appointment guide explains the separate clinical and booking responsibilities.

Use requested, pending, confirmed, completed or change requested for each status. Keep the quote reference and agreed English support beside the sheet. A change request does not change or cancel an appointment until confirmed.

Discuss your own plan

Share your city, available dates, appointment goals and special requirements. We will check an accepted provider, scope, support and total before you decide. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment.

The hospital-issued Chinese report and complete English translation are delivered within 3–5 working days after all examinations listed in your confirmed check-up package are completed. Consultations, treatment, pathology and other services outside the listed package follow their separately confirmed arrangements.
