Zhujiang Check-up Packages: What Changes Between the Lists?
By MyChinaCheckup coordination team · Published
Evidence checked: 13 October 2026. Prices and item names below come from MyChinaCheckup’s published catalogue. They are operator reference prices, not a newly confirmed hospital tariff, an available appointment or a clinical recommendation.
Zhujiang’s six published check-up lists do not form a simple sequence in which each option contains everything in the previous one. Men’s 03 costs more than Men’s 02 but presents 13 rows instead of 29. Women’s 02 has 15 rows, compared with 24 in Women’s 01. Some entries describe unspecified groups. Neither the number nor the price establishes which examinations a person needs or which unlisted items will be included.
This guide puts every published item name into one six-way matrix and highlights the changes that need a written answer. For the hospital overview, use the Zhujiang directory; for the wider arrangement, use Guangzhou health check-up planning.

| Code and published package | Operator reference price per person | Published rows | Displayed category / age guidance |
|---|---|---|---|
| M01: Men’s check-up 01 | US$358 | 22 | Men; age 18–48 |
| M02: Men’s check-up 02 | US$535 | 29 | Men; age range not stated |
| M03: Men’s check-up 03 | US$969 | 13 | Men; age range not stated |
| W01: Women’s check-up 01 | US$411 | 24 | Women; age 18–48 |
| W02: Women’s check-up 02 | US$641 | 15 | Women; age range not stated |
| W03: Women’s check-up 03 | US$1,033 | 46 | Women; age range not stated |
M01–M03 and W01–W03 are short column labels for these exact pages. A row count means a publication entry, which can contain a panel, several named organs or an unclear group. It is not a count of distinct clinical tests.
The displayed price differences are US$177 from M01 to M02 and US$434 from M02 to M03; W01 to W02 is US$230, and W02 to W03 is US$392. These are arithmetic comparisons of whole-package reference prices. They are not the price of adding the apparent differences individually.
The changes worth resolving first
Men’s 01 and 02: one named item disappears while eight appear
M02 retains 21 of M01’s 22 exact item names. Its eight additional names are Troponin T, 25-hydroxyvitamin D, Carbohydrate antigen CA19-9, Slit Lamp Examination, Fundus examination, Intraocular pressure measurement, Ultrasound: carotid arteries and Ultrasound[]. The last entry does not identify a body region.
M01 names Cervical spine X-ray; M02 does not. It would therefore be inaccurate to describe M02 as “M01 plus eight tests.” Both name chest CT, with a note excluding physical film. Ask whether the different neck-imaging wording is intentional and what the unnamed ultrasound means before accepting a scope.
Men’s 03: a different, less itemised specification
M03 names ECG, blood count, fasting glucose, liver, kidney, lipid and thyroid panels, ABO and Rh, a health questionnaire, two ultrasound entries and a broad Health Screening (,, ENT,, Dental) entry. That is its full 13-row published table.
The list does not separately name the chest CT, HbA1c, carbon-13 breath test, PSA entries or eye assessments seen in M02. Its generic lipid and thyroid panel names also provide less component detail than the corresponding M01/M02 labels. Do not infer that all of those earlier items are bundled inside a group. Equally, a missing separate name does not prove a confirmed exclusion from a final hospital schedule. The useful next step is a fully specified M03 list, including the meaning of the malformed health-screening entry.
Women’s 02: do not carry Women’s 01 across automatically
W02 names internal-medicine, surgery-department and ophthalmology examinations, an ENT-related group and a five-component tumour-marker panel. It also lists blood count, liver, kidney, lipid and thyroid panels, urinalysis, ECG, chest CT and two ultrasound entries.
W01 separately names HbA1c, fasting glucose, a carbon-13 breath test, breast ultrasound and transabdominal pelvic ultrasound. Those names are absent from W02’s table. W02’s unnamed five-marker panel cannot be matched to W01’s individual marker names without its component list. Its broader abdominal/kidney ultrasound wording does not establish that a breast or pelvic scan is included.
Women’s 03: explicit additions alongside unresolved scan labels
W03 expressly names Brain CT, Dual-energy X-ray bone mineral density measurement, carotid ultrasound, several eye assessments, additional laboratory entries, HPV genotyping, liquid-based cervical cytology and a gynaecology examination. The full matrix also shows the gastric-function, coagulation and more detailed lipid/thyroid panel labels.
Two scan rows still read Ultrasound (,) and Ultrasound[]. Neither identifies an examination route or body region. W01’s transabdominal uterus/adnexa wording does not reappear as such in W03. Do not relabel either anonymous scan as pelvic or cardiac ultrasound to make the comparison look complete. Request the exact scan names and, for any pelvic examination, the proposed route before consent.
Complete exact-name comparison
Every data row from all six public package tables is represented below; repeated table headings are excluded. Listed means that exact name appears on that page. — means it is not separately named there, not that the hospital has confirmed it is excluded. Similar names remain separate where the source wording differs. This avoids treating an unspecified panel as equivalent to a named component list.
The source-note column retains qualification and uncertainty. A standard “individual item” note is a catalogue classification, not independent confirmation of the procedure’s scope. “Complete” here describes coverage of the published tables, not verification of the underlying hospital order.

What the catalogue still cannot settle
- Panel components: W02’s five-marker panel and the generic liver, kidney, lipid, thyroid and blood-count entries need their current component lists. Labels that already name components, such as TSH/FT4/FT3, retain those names; their generic panel note does not justify adding other tests.
- Incomplete labels: Ask for the original item behind Ultrasound[], Ultrasound (,), Health Screening (,, ENT,, Dental), ENT Health Screening3 E District and 2 [RF,ASO]. Keep the clarification with the selected package rather than silently correcting the published wording.
- Imaging deliverables: M01’s cervical X-ray and chest CT, M02’s chest CT, W01’s cervical X-ray and chest CT, and W03’s cervical X-ray, chest CT and Brain CT explicitly exclude physical film. W02’s chest CT has no matching film note. Absence of that note does not confirm that film is supplied; ask separately about images, format, access and any charge.
- Eligibility: M01 and W01 display age guidance of 18–48. This is catalogue guidance, not a personalised screening interval or an automatic acceptance rule. The other pages do not supply an equivalent age range. Confirm suitability, relevant anatomy, pregnancy considerations and consent with the clinical team.
A longer marker list does not establish broader cancer-screening benefit. The National Cancer Institute’s tumour-marker explanation notes limitations that can produce missed cancers and false-positive findings. Likewise, the FDA’s medical X-ray guidance says imaging using ionising radiation should be justified by the person’s clinical needs. Package membership alone does not establish that justification. This article compares published scope; it does not recommend a screening bundle or interpret results.
Turn the comparison into a quoted plan
The package pages describe a selected, confirmed arrangement covering listed examinations, personalised coordination, English-speaking accompaniment and the hospital-issued Chinese report with a full English translation. Keep those included services in the same written total. For visits after 31 December 2026, confirm the applicable service quote rather than assuming the current terms continue. Extra tests, treatment, medicines, transport and accommodation require their own agreed scope where relevant; an enquiry does not reserve a slot.
The Guangzhou cost guide compares hospital-level reference ranges. This item-level guide answers a narrower question: which names and conditions are actually printed in each Zhujiang option? Neither replaces hospital confirmation of the date, campus, department or final list.
Request a written Guangzhou plan. You can use this enquiry text:
“Please quote Zhujiang Hospital [package name and link] for my proposed date. Attach the dated examination list and clarify the unnamed ultrasound and panel entries relevant to that option. Confirm my eligibility with the hospital, the reception campus and department, English-speaking accompaniment, report and image deliverables, separately priced additions and the total per person. Please identify anything still awaiting confirmation before I accept the plan.”
