China Health Check vs Visa, Work or Study Medical Examination

A voluntary health check and an official medical examination serve different purposes. Do not assume that a hospital check-up package can replace the certificate required by an immigration, employment or education authority.

Shanghai's official guidance directs people planning a long stay for residence, work or study to the Shanghai International Travel Healthcare Center and explains its appointment and document requirements. This is a separate route from choosing a voluntary hospital package.
